This handbook serves as a guide for all Adirondack Corp. employees. It outlines our company culture, policies, and expectations.
Adirondack Corp. specializes in firewood stands, sheds, and custom-built structures. We serve various regions across New York and Pennsylvania, delivering quality craftsmanship and outstanding service.

Employees are classified as:
Full-time: Employees working 40+ hours per week.
Part-time: Employees working less than 40 hours per week.
Temporary/Contract: Employees hired for a specific project or duration.

Employees may report concerns regarding workplace issues, unfair treatment, or policy violations through HR. All grievances will be handled confidentially and without retaliation.
Employees are required to use professional and respectful communication in all interactions, including in-person, email, and phone correspondence.
Employees are paid biweekly via direct deposit or paper check. Payroll deductions include taxes, insurance, and other authorized withholdings.

Employees accrue vacation time based on their length of service. Vacation requests must be submitted at least two weeks in advance.
Employees called for jury duty will be granted leave per federal and state laws.

Employees must report any workplace injuries immediately to their supervisor or HR.
The workplace is a drug-free and alcohol-free environment. Any violations may result in termination.
Threats, harassment, or violence will not be tolerated. Employees must report any safety concerns to HR or management.
Company-provided email, internet, and communication tools should be used for business purposes only.
Employees must not share confidential company information on social media or represent the company without authorization.
Employees must safeguard customer, employee, and company information to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.
Performance reviews are conducted annually to assess progress, goals, and areas for improvement.
Adirondack Corp. provides training opportunities to help employees grow in their careers.
Employees interested in career advancement are encouraged to apply for internal job openings.
Employees who choose to resign must provide at least two weeks' written notice.
Terminated employees will receive an exit interview to discuss final payments, benefits, and company property return.
All company equipment (uniforms, tools, keys, ID badges, etc.) must be returned upon separation.
All employees must sign an Employee Handbook Acknowledgment Form confirming they have read and understood company policies.
